Works But RF Noisy

It's a really great deal considering the capacity. The only problem is it is extremely RF noisy. On 80m, 40m, 12m and 11m. On 11m it wipes gives out a loud pulsing static that every radio user can pick up from over 5 miles away. I am in contact with Aferiy service but so far they don't seem to understand what I am telling them. My opinion, great power station if you need back up power at a great deal. No so great if you are a CB or amateur radio user. Considering people buy these for emergency use, it is very odd. Let me add that I own multiple Harbor Freight Predator power stations and not a one of them is RF noisy.

Decent power station, terrible customer service.

After diligently researching all the battery back up companies, I chose the p280. It’s a decent back up power station. It’s being used as an emergency back up along with a 12.6v 100 amp lithium iron battery and a dual fuel generator for emergency recharging. BUT…AFERIY CUSTOMER SERVICE (LISA), RESPONSE and response time is totally unprofessional and is either non/late in responding, or responds with a boiler plate generic email. Had customer service been assessable (they claimed a 28 day holiday leaving them short staffed). I may have upgraded to the p310. Consumer vs. profitability. SAD… I will also post this review to the WEB.

So far so good

I use it in my home office as a UPS for my computers and internet. Of course now that I’m prepared I haven’t lost power. It drains to about 90% and then recharges. You are supposed to run it down to zero or close to it every few months to keep things working correctly with the battery management system. It is a nice little unit and a good value. I could work a whole day with no power so I love it so far.
